Good Thymes

The family was satisfied with the food. Appetizers where really good. Dessert was excellent. Seating us was very slow. We waited 45 mins. Initially service was slow also. We ordered mixed drinks and soda, the mixed drinks came out first, we waited a bit for the soda drinks. Staff is friendly, prices are fair.

I haven't been to Good Thymes in years and I have been wanting to. My best friend took me for my birthday today and the food is still excellent like I remember it to be!!! Service was great as well!!!

it's been there forever and that's because the food is consistent and good American fare. we get the croquets (chicken or turkey) often. i like the beef short ribs too. the dessert cart is a whole other reason to go. I love either the banana or Boston creme pies. there's so many delicious options on that cart.

Waitress, Marcie, was very nice and accommodating and the food whatever you get is good for 2 meals and delicious. Save room for their desserts too, wicked yummy!

I was very surprised at the quality of the meal I got. Whoever the chef is he really knows how to prepare food. Everything was completely delicious!

Great comfort food and the service is always excellent. The family has been coming here for years. The baked haddock margherita with the fresh mozzarella and sea scallops are a must. Prime rib is available as a special, usually on Saturdays and it's always a hefty portion.

Recommended by a local. Had noted the name before by driving by. Was surprised by the size of the interior. The space seems nice to me. A lot of booths available. Ample parking.I enjoyed my entree. Had filet mignon and shrimp. The steak was cooked correctly and the shrimp were good. The carrots were good as well.For dessert I tried Oreo cookie chocolate pudding pie. It was just so so. I didn't finish it. I liked their bread over the dessert. I know they are known for their desserts but this was just nothing to brag about.

It is appropriately named . It is a pleasant local restaurant. I sat near tables with families and the wait staff was really nice and accomodating to the children in the party. The also have good entrées and beverages for the adults. I had Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was the best that had in a long time - prepared from scratch in the kitchen. Excellent food. Always a good meal here. Always busy. The chicken parm is so good! The sauce is homemade and tastes sweet not tangy. Dinner specials and desserts are always good too.

I have driven past this place hundreds of times and finally decided to stop in for a family meal one night when I was tired of chains.This food is incredible. I mean, absolutely delicious and supremely satisfying. The chicken with lemon butter sauce is out of this world. We also had the stuffed chicken with apple-cranberry stuffing which was a special and it was beyond delectable. Everything here is cooked to perfection and I leave full and craving my next meal!!! This is a serious hidden gem for those not from the area. You must try this place out!

My first time there and i am pleasantly surprised. First off, when you enter you see the display of all the desserts. Everything in the case seemed fresh. The place is quite clean and bright. As for the food, it was simply delicious and perfect sized portions. Also, the price was reasonable. The kids menu was rather inexpensive too. Finally, the waitress was very nice and attentive. We will be back.

I'd give it a 4 1/2 really just can't do it on my phone.. Been going there quite a bit for a long time Jim and his cooking staff to his wife and waitress staff are very good.. Food is very good , good portion deserts look amazing been to full to enjoy one still.. Great neighborhood restaurant... Won't be disappoint at all...

Great place great food awesome service

The type of classic that’s hard to find and that is so “of-the-70s-and-early-80s” that it transcends nostalgia in its strong reminder that sometimes you need a 2,000 calorie desert on top of your 3,000 calorie meal. Restaurants that advertise “comfort food” are all hype when compared to this, the very culinary definition of why the term was invented. If (like me) this is the way a restaurant was supposed to be in the 80s enjoy the historic trip to an enjoyable long-lost past. But if you lived in a sanitized world in which chicken was only healthy if grilled (versus breaded and stuffed with a cube of cheese that started larger than the circumference of the bird that’s being cooked) then you owe it to yourself to enjoy this true authentic treasure of a restaurant.

LOVE this place! First time visit exceeded our expectations. Service was great with friendly faces and food was outstanding. Fall off the bone braised lamb. Even with a full restaurant drinks and food came out fast! We'll be back for sure.

I've been going here 4-5 years. My go to spot for great food, great service, and excellent pricing. Everything we've tried has been top notch in flavor. Too many favorites to name them all. But don't miss the baked haddock or lemon chicken. Awesome bakery desserts. Comfortable place can easily go casual or dressed up a bit. Staff are like visiting family. They have turned many a simple get together meal into a special occasion. I've been out of the area a couple years and they still ask friends how I am when they go in. Miss this place alot!

I ordered 5 take out dinners . 4 were fine. I ordered fried haddock, baked potato and 3 bean salad. The fish and potato were barely warm, I did not receive the salad. I'm surprised because the food here is usually excellent.

We sat at the bar felt comfortable. great food, great service, and the best pies. ( YOU REALLY HAVE TO CHECK OUT THE PIES) my husband was very happy with the Prime Rib. and he is not easy to please.. I had a burger with no pink.it was moist, fresh bread with lettuce and tomatoes. Good Thymes is one of my favorites- have not had a disappointing meal there. Occasional wait, but never longer than 15 min. Consistently excellent food, service in comfortable setting. And if you like dessert, the coconut cream pie alone is worth the trip! Highly recommend

The restaurant was decorated with holiday decorations and we were greeted with smiles from the staff. The friendly lady at the host stand led us to our table and shortly after we were greeted by our server, Stephanie. She was very attentive, informative, and had an overall great attitude.

DELICIOUS food! Didn't have room for the amazing desserts but next time we're going for dessert! My food was so good...I recommend the chicken croquettes... And my peach Bellini was very tasty!

Went on a Tuesday around 6pm. I have gotten take out here before, bit this was my first time sitting down. I had great service, food was brought out quickly, drinks were refilled promptly, wish I remembered our waitresses name. Definitely recommend this place, great food. Also make sure you get desert, they are delivering.

My family and I flew in for a vacation in Massachusetts, and we all agreed that the food at this restaurant was the best meal during our entire trip. The coconut shrimp was soo good we ordered it 4 times! Diana, our server, was amazing and her personality was cheerful. We'll definitely come back here again if we're ever in Lowell!

We had dinner for Ten people, drinks, appetizers and salads search immediately. Food was all cooked well and hot and all on time. EXCELLENT DINNER AND SERVICE, server was very attentive, atmosphere was comfortable and allowed us to enjoy each others company with great food. I highly recommend eating here.

Restaurant was 3 miles off 495. AWESOME restaurant. Food was delicious, coconut cream pie best I have ever had. Waitress was extremely nice.
